Because I was inundated with a huge amount of them… I put that in the article I think. It was because I was following too many people on Twitter causing too much activity in that regard. This one seemed better than most at it, and it was at a vulnerable time. As I mentioned I strategically and intentionally tested her and it ended up being great journalism and research for this article which was desperately needed since it’s not just about scams alone but the loophole of certain technologies like Google Hangouts that don’t have the same standards for automating scam prevention as other services and social media.
